State of Georgia Season 1 Episode 3 - Best Friends For Never aired July 13,2011 8:30 PM on ABC Family. State of Georgia, an ABC Studios' Production, is a half-hour multi-cam comedy series starring Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger than life personality and her science geek best friend who try to make headway in New York City.

In order to reunite Aunt Honey with her old friend, Georgia decides to meddle in their affairs. Meanwhile, Georgia struggles with her friendship with Jo. Georgia tries to reunite Aunt Honey with her estranged best friend, Patrice, in the wake of her concerns about her own friendship with Jo.

Georgia goes out with a yogurt-store owner (Justin Bruening), despite Jo's objections. Fearing the romance will fizzle quickly, Jo enlists her fellow grad students to help her uncover the ingredients in the store's scrumptious yogurt.

In the series premiere of this comedy about two friends pursuing their dreams, aspiring actress Georgia (Raven-Symoné) and her science-loving pal Jo (Majandra Delfino) move from the South to New York City and rent an apartment from Georgia's aunt (Loretta Devine). When Georgia is rejected by a casting director because of her figure, she goes on a mission to prove that she fits the role. Meanwhile, Jo develops a crush on a guy that visits her at work.
